Mughal-E-Azam, the timeless depiction of the 16th century Anarkali – Salim love saga had many significant scenes shot in Agra. The lavish palace of Akbar in the movie is none other than the magnificent Fatehpur Sikri. The famous song “Pyar kiya to darna kya” was shot in the Agra Fort. The “sheeh mahal”, palace of glass shown in the song was a set up in the Fort especially for the song, which was later on disposed of.

Pardes

Pardes was a Bollywood musical drama. The film was a musical hit, and it owes its famous song “Do dil mil rahe hain” to Agra, as the complete song was shot with Shahrukh playing the guitar and singing the song while on an outing with his friend, his family and fiancé.

Jodha Akbar

The movie narrating the historical love story of Akbar and Jodha Bai received laurels for its eye-grabbing royal romance and scenes depicting the Mughal era. Mere Brother Ki Dulhan

Bunty aur Bubly

An Indian Hindi crime-comedy film has a scene shot near the Taj Mahal where the characters Bunty and Bubly, the two small town misfits, try to con the foreign buyers and sell the Taj Mahal. The scene packs a lot of fun punches and you must watch if not yet.
